Moodle and Learning Design
Moodle stands for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment and is a web based software for the creation and management of courses. The australian Martin Dougiamas started the deveolpment of Moodle in 1999 at Curtin University of Technology (Perth, Australia). Since then the Moodle project is supported by a world wide rapidly growing user and deveolper community. The software is available as open source under GPL-licence.
